Resources

  • West Coast DHB Smokefree Plan
  • ABC e-Learning Tool

The ABC e-Learning tool has been designed for registered healthcare workers in the very basics of smoking cessation.

If you are a registered health professional in New Zealand, or training to be one, this module is for you. It should take you about 30 minutes to complete (in one go or in several sessions, depending on your available time).

By completing the module you'll receive a printable certificate (evidence of one hour of professional development) and you'll be able to provide people who smoke access to subsidised Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), by becoming a Quit Card provider. This tool is endorsed for CME points by the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.
